Cancellation Policy

 BERTHING / MOORING / DRY STORAGE 

Thank you for choosing d’Albora Marinas. Prior to confirming your reservation, we ask that you please ensure you are in a position to commit to your stay with us.

Our cancellation and refund policy is detailed below and in the event that your circumstances change please contact Guest Services immediately to discuss your options. 

SHORT TERM RESERVATIONS (Less than 12 months) 

Cancellation Policy 

Please carefully review our cancellation terms below, noting that cancellations within 30 days are not refundable. 

Time Period Applicable Refund 

Notify more than 3 months prior to reservation date 90% of fees refunded Notify less than 3 months but more than 30 days prior to arrival 50% of fees refunded Notify less than 30 days prior to arrival No refund 

NOTE: Special Event periods, such as New Years have specific cancellation terms which will be advised at the time of reservation. 

Changes to Departure Date 

Should your circumstances change and you wish to cut short or extend your stay with d’Albora Marinas you should contact Guest Services prior to your departure date to make further arrangements. 

Should you be shortening your stay refunds will be payable in accordance with the above. 

Should you wish to extend your stay additional charges will be payable and calculated at the applicable rates. All extensions are subject to availability. 

ANNUAL RESERVATIONS 

Cancellation Policy – prior to arrival 

Should your circumstances change and you are unable berth your vessel with d’Albora Marinas, as previously planned, you should notify Guest Services prior to your arrival date. 

Prepaid Stays 

If you have prepaid for an annual (12 month) stay, you will be eligible to receive a 90% refund of the prepaid amount on the proviso that you advise d’Albora a minimum of two (2) months prior to your intended arrival. Should the notice period be less than two (2) months prior to arrival the maximum refund you may eligible for is 75% of the prepaid amount. 

Annual Stays (Month to Month) 

If you have booked an annual stay but are paying month to month you will be eligible for a refund on the one (1) month license fee provided you have given two (2) months’ notice prior to your intended arrival. The security deposit is non-refundable. 

Cancellation Policy – During the Contracted Period 

Should your circumstances change and you wish to cut short or extend your stay with d’Albora Marinas you should contact Guest Services at least two (2) months’ prior to departure to make further arrangements. 

Should you be shortening your stay any refund will be calculated as follows: 

Prepaid Annual 

If the overall stay is less than 1 year: 

  • Recalculate stay based on equivalent short term rates up to and including new departure date. 
  • The difference between the original pre-payment and the new amount will be refunded (if applicable). 

If the overall stay is greater than 1 year: 

  • Recalculate stay based on equivalent monthly annual rates up to and including new departure date with an additional fee equivalent to one months’ berthing fees. 
  • The difference between the original pre-payment and the new amount will be refunded (if applicable). 

Month to Month 

If the overall stay is less than 1 year: 

  • 100% of the security deposit retained. 
  • Recalculate stay based on the equivalent short term rates. 
  • All charges incurred, including berthing fees and utilities, up to and including the departure date also payable. 

If the overall stay is greater than 1 year: 

  • 100% of the security deposit retained. 
  • All charges incurred, including berthing fees and utilities, up to and including the departure date also payable. 

6 Month Pre-Paid Stays (Annual Monthly Rate) 

Should your circumstances change and you wish to cut short or extend your stay with d’Albora Marinas, you should contact Guest Services at least one (1) month prior to departure to make further arrangements. 

6 Months Paid Upfront 

  • No Refund 

Kayak Storage 

Should your circumstances change and you wish to cut short or extend your stay with d’Albora Marinas, you should contact Guest Services at least one (1) month prior to departure to make further arrangements. 

Prepaid Annual 

  • No refund 

Month to Month (If applicable) 

  • All charges incurred, including kayak storage fees up to and including the departure date also payable. 

Should you wish to extend your stay, additional charges may be payable and calculated at applicable rate e.g. annual monthly rate or daily casual. All extensions are subject to availability. Please contact Guest Services to make further arrangements. 

REFUND PROCESSING 

d’Albora Marinas will refund any fees paid to d’Albora Marinas as a result of amending your reservation and after taking into consideration the relevant cancellation policy, within 30 days of receiving a refund request. 

Credit card surcharges are non-refundable. 

Refunds will only be processed to the credit card or bank account of the individual, organisation or institution from which the payment was received. 

**Please note that refunds are not applicable at d’Albora Marinas Horizon Shores for any pre-paid agreement. That being quarterly, 6 monthly or pre-paid annual contracts.
